Guarantee

The breeder guarantees that the puppy is a purebred Samoyed. The puppy is sold as a companion animal. The breeder guarantees this animal against hip dysplasia and hereditary diseases affecting exclusively the retina. This guarantee is valid for a period of TWO (2) years. If the puppy were to die and be diagnosed by a veterinarian with a congenital defect that caused the death during this period, it will be replaced by a puppy of equal value. If the buyer refuses the replacement puppy, the seller will then issue a refund of 50% of the purchase price. No compensation will be provided by the seller for treatment costs. In the event of death, an autopsy performed by the St-Hyacinthe Veterinary Hospital is required, and the costs will be borne by the buyer. This autopsy must clearly specify the cause of death. The animal must be clearly identified with its microchip number.  The puppy will be covered by a FOURTEEN (14)-day guarantee after departure for viral diseases. The puppy must be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within the FOURTEEN (14) days to validate this guarantee (at the buyer’s expense) and notify the seller as soon as the diagnosis is known. In the event of death, the previous clauses will apply (autopsy by the St-Hyacinthe Veterinary Hospital). Proof of vaccination for other animals in the household may be required to validate this guarantee, and the guarantee may be voided if the other animals are not up to date with their vaccinations.  The buyer agrees to provide all necessary care for the puppy and to avoid changing its food during the warranty period.  If the seller is unable to deliver a puppy (for example, due to accidental death), the buyer may choose another puppy or have their deposit refunded.
